The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation announced on Thursday, 28, the nine accelerators which will receive $ 18 million from the federal government in the first stage of the program Start-up Brazil.
Each of them will support 10 new companies with $ 200 thousand in federal funds, plus a variable amount of private investment from the accelerator in exchange for equity.
The accelerators that were selected are: Aceleratech, Microsoft, Papaya, Pipa, Wayra, FUMSOFT, Outsource, and StartYouUp 21,212.
AcceleraTech is headquartered in São Paulo and is supported by funds like Gavea Angels, HandSprint Capital, Anjos do Brasil e Mountain do Brasil.
